A Mighty Fortress: Meditations on the Sufficiency of God

fortress.jpgUsing the verses from Luther's great hymn 'A Mighty Fortress is our God', written from his meditations on psalm 46, T M Moore helps us recapture our song, written by God's hand in our life. We can rekindle the flames of our spiritual lives and be set upon a firmer footing to face the future bloodied, unbowed, undismayed.

Welcome to The Fellowship of Ailbe, a spiritual fellowship in the Celtic tradition.

The Fellowship of Ailbe is a ministry to pastors and church leaders. Our focus is on encouraging men to grow in the grace of the Lord, and equipping them for more effective leadership in their churches. Our website features daily, weekly, and monthly columns; a variety of free resources can be downloaded by registered guests; and Members are available to establish friendships and mentoring relationships as the need may be. In addition, T. M. Moore, Principal of The Fellowship, is in frequent demand as a speaker for conferences and seminars, as are other Members of The Fellowship. A variety of books and other publications are also available, including those offered by Waxed Tablet Publications, the press of The Fellowship.

The Fellowship of Ailbe takes its name from a monastic community which, in the middle of the 6th century, provided a haven of rest and renewal for weary servants of the Lord. Our desire is to serve those men who have devoted themselves to equipping the saints for the work of ministry, unto the building-up of the Body of Christ, and to create a growing network of pastors and church leaders reaching out to one another in the fellowship of the Lord.

Be sure to register so that you can gain access to all the resources available at My Paruchia, and to receive our daily devotional, "Crosfigell", and our monthly enewsletter, "The Refectory".

As the Holy Spirit comforted the disciples of old, and as the brothers of the monastery on Ailbe cared for the servants of God in their day, so our mission is to serve as a place of revival and renewal for ministers and leaders in the local church. We look forward to serving you.
